Teresa Lynn Satters Pendleton, 68 of Marysville, IN passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mrs. Pendleton was born April 28, 1947 in Martinsville, IN the daughter of Robert Satters and Betty Barger ( Satters ) Mann. Both parents preceded her in death. Teresa lived in Martinsville, IN and attended Martinsville High School. She graduated with a B.S. Degree from Indiana State University and received a  M.S. Degree from Indiana University.

She taught for  38 years as an Elementary Teacher starting her career at E. O. Muncie Elementary in Madison, IN in 1970. She retired   from New Washington Elementary in New Washington, IN.   Teresa touched hundreds and hundreds of lives throughout her career while teaching first, second, or  third grades. Her influence will long be felt.

 Teresa’s grandchildren were the love of her life. Her most fervent prayer was to see them graduate high school and begin college. She fought courageously, but sadly that wasn't to be. She had fond memories of her high school days. She often spoke of her friends and the good times they had together.

Survivors include her husband, James Pendleton, whom she married on May 31, 1969; her daughter Shawn and grandchildren Aaron and Abigail.  Funeral services were held on Monday, August 3, 2015 with internment in Canaan Cemetery at Canaan, IN.
