Charlotte (Naylor) Grimsley, 62, of Montview Drive, Woodsville, N.H., died May 20, 2010, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., June 4, 1947, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Naugle) Naylor. Raised in Indiana, she graduated from Martinsville, Ind., High School and Flagler College, St. Augustine, Fla.

She has worked as a school bus driver for Belyea Transportation, formerly of Monroe, and First Student Bus Company, and served as an EMT on the Monroe FAST Squad. Charlotte lived in Monroe, N.H., most of her adult life and was a member and Past Worthy Matron of Olive Branch Chapter 1 Order of the Eastern Star of Lancaster, N.H., and Mt. Eustis Chapter 37 of Littleton, N.H. She currently was serving as the Grand Martha for the Grand Chapter of New Hampshire. Charlotte enjoyed flower gardening, as well as music and playing her guitar.

She was predeceased by her husband Roger Grimsley on May 21, 1985.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jessica Brusseau and husband Jon of Littleton, N.H., and Jennifer Grimsley and fiancé Erik Smith of Cambridge, Vt.; six grandchildren, Nathan Brusseau, Courtney Brusseau, Joseph Rodger, Wyatt Rodger, Josh Hill, and Devon Hill; her mother-in-law, Arlene Quick and husband James of Rochester, N.Y.; and her adopted children, Joan and Carol Emerson of Woodsville.

A calling hour will be on Monday, May 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. followed by a public Eastern Star Service conducted by the Grand Family, at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch St., Woodsville, N.H.

Burial will follow at the Monroe Village Cemetery, Monroe, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o, Jessica Brusseau, P.O. Box 951, Littleton, NH 03561.
