Thomas E. Luttrell, 62

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. — Thomas E. Luttrell, 62, of Fountain Hills, passed away October 15, 2009, at his home.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was a retired machinist at Honeywell. He moved to Arizona in 1979 to go to work for then Air Research in Phoenix.

He is survived by his wife, Billie; 3 children, Andrew Luttrell, Krystal Abbott, Melissa Kaspazak; 2 stepdaughters, Lynn Hacker and Lisa Deckard; 8 grandchildren and brother, Mike Wright of Surprise, Arizona.

Thomas loved the outdoors, the Arizona heat, hiking and fishing. He liked old movies and older vehicles and was known for his quick wit.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
