Well its Back 2 School for some and that means Fall sports ie Football!  I can't believe MHS lost their opener to Terre Haute South much less that they have already started their season. Those of you lucky enough to live nearby, pls show your support for the athletes- I just wish I could!   In any case, we have some new members!  Pls join in welcoming CHARLOTTE DARR PACE, ROBERT ELMORE and PATTY HUNT SCHRADER to the site.  Our membership is now up to 64.  Also we have several celebrating birthdays in the coming weeks:  JEFF THOMAS (8/27)  and in Sept, SHEILA HARRIS BLACK, JERRY GRIFFIN, CHARLOTTE DARR PACE, and SUSAN DEFREES MIRASKY.  For an update on mini reunions check out Elaine Roe Hacker's photo post in the 'Where They are Now' gallery and PAULETTE KNOX WALTZ' posted some new photos from a recent get-together at the fair, as well under her profile.   Now a real bonus would be to have those lovely ladies convince our classmates in the pictures to join the site (those that haven't already that is).  On a much sadder note, condolences to the family and friends of MARCIA FARLEY HINES (1947-2011) on her passing.  Thanks to PHYLLIS CULP HACKER who supplied the update, there is a new post in the IN MEMORY page taken from the 7/31/11 Reporter obituary section for those who care to read it.  Also a follow-on more sad news:  JOHN BURNS passed away on August 25th.  Thanks to BARBARA BALDWIN MOSER and JIM BAKER for the update.  A post has been added to the IN MEMORY section.
